Chalk Wall Drawings

The beautiful city of Charlottesville, Virginia is home to, among other things, The University of Virginia, Monticello, and the Thomas Jefferson Center for the Protection of Free Expression. The First Amendment Monument is a large wall of slate in the downtown area where residents and guests are invited to add to this ever changing landmark. Whenever I’m in the area, I try to make sure to leave a little something on the wall to attract views and perhaps get people thinking about something new. A wonderful local photographer named Bill Mauzy has been documenting the processes of the wall for over a year and I’m please that he has included my work.
